SAR Shield can be fitted quickly and simply to all cellular phones using a self-adhesive backing. The SAR Shield is metallic blue and silver, to complement the design of your phone. number of scientists warning manufacturers, the media, and governments of the health dangers caused by electromagnetic pollution is continually increasing. This has now reached the point where the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association will start publishing information on the amount of radiation that enters users’ heads when they use various wireless phones by requiring manufacturers to submit data — called SAR’s for “Specific Absorption Rate” of radiation. The information will be included in the product literature inside cell phone packaging. The reason for the publication of SAR’s on the packaging of cellular phones is due to the growing public pressure on cell phone safety. George Carlo, a public health researcher who spearheaded a three-year, $27 million research program for the cellular telephone industry on possible health risks associated with such devices said in his report that the radio frequency radiation from wireless phone antennae “appears to cause genetic damage in human blood,” while another case study uncovered a “statistically significant increase” in neuro-epithelial brain tumors among cell phone users.
“The public wants to know, and a couple of months ago a blue ribbon panel set up by the British government said outright this information should be on the box. So there is growing pressure worldwide to make this information available to consumers,” -Louis Slesin, editor and publisher of Microwave News speaking to CNN.
SAR Shield dissipates high frequency electromagnetic energy. Attenuating the electromagnetic field by up to 89%. The biological effects on the user, and anyone standing nearby are greatly reduced, below levels that are considered dangerous by the FDA. In reducing the levels of radiation SAR Shield reduces the suspected effects that exposure to intensive levels of high frequency electromagnetic energy cause, such as, loss of memory, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer, Leukemia, headaches, and brain tumors. SAR Shield has been independently tested, using FCC and Industry Canada approved SAR testing guidelines.
SAR Shield was developed using the P.A.M. SYSTEM® technology, applied to aerospace findings. The technology used in the SAR Shield is comparable to the electro-physical principles that make US Air force Stealth aircraft invisible to radar systems. The materials used in the construction of the SAR Shield withhold and dissipate electro-magnetic waves without reflecting them into the surrounding environment.

Why should I buy a SAR Shield and not another radiation shield?
The main difference between our product and other radiation shields available on the internet is simple. OUR PRODUCT WORKS. We are the only cell phone radiation shield that provides full testing on our product by a leading SAR testing lab, IMST which tested the cell phones in the now famous ABC News 20/20 report, and publish these SAR Shield radiation tests on our website for everyone to scrutinize. In 2002 the US government tested various shields, and found that many did not work. The FTC then sued several makers of radiation blockers including, Wave Scrambler, Safety Cell and SafeTshield. This action was taken after Good Housekeeping Institute found that 5 shields did not reduce the radiation they claimed, these five shields were Wave Scrambler by Rhino International, Radiation Free Shield, Wave Shield by Interact Communications, Safe-T-Shield by SV1 Inc, and Safety Caps by Safety Cell. It is easy to say a product reduces radiation, but why don’t our “competitors” publish these results so we can actually see the claims they make are real?
What is SAR and the difference in testing standards like 1.6 W/kg and 2.0 W/kg?
SAR stands for “specific absorbtion rate” basically the amount of radiation a human body will absorb from a cell phone. The lower the rate the less radiation will be absorbed. There are basically 2 different standards which are;
USA Standard. The SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public is 1.6 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over one gram of body tissue.
European Standard. The SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public is 2.0 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over ten grams of body tissue.
In order to compare relative radiation of different mobile phones, you can only compare phones using the same standard of measurement.
Will I notice any difference using my phone with SAR Shield?
You will not notice any difference in call quality.
Does SAR Shield fit on my phone?
Yes the SAR SHIELD fits on all phones.
How do i install the SAR Shield ?

How big is the SAR Shield?
The SAR Shield is the size of a dime..
Does the SAR Shield work on cordless home phones?
Yes, the SAR Shield will work on cordless home phones.
Are cell phones dangerous?
Cell phones emit low levels of radio frequency energy (i.e., radio frequency radiation) in the microwave range while being used. It is well known that high levels of RF can produce biological damage through heating effects (this is how your microwave oven is able to cook food). However, it is not known to what extent or through what mechanism, lower levels of RF might cause adverse health effects as well. Several research studies have shown that the radio frequency radiation from wireless phone antennae “appears to cause genetic damage in human blood,” while another case study uncovered a “statistically significant increase” in neuro-epithelial brain tumors among cell phone users. Other research has shown little or no adverse effects. ABC’s 20/20 News (May 26, 2000) took the five most popular phones sold in the US and tested them at a highly respected German laboratory. Four out of the five phones tested were above the SAR limit. One thing is for certain, similar to the case of cigarette smoking, it will take several tests and many years before the effects of radio frequency radiation on the human body are known.
What are the possible risks?
There are fears that the electromagnetic radiation emitted from mobile phone handsets may harm health. In particular, there have been claims that it could affect the body’s cells, brain or immune system and increase the risk of developing a range of diseases from cancer to Alzheimer’s. Laboratory tests on mice have shown that radiation from mobile phones can have an adverse effect on their overall health. It is still not clear whether those findings can be applied directly to humans. A study by scientists in Finland, published in 2002, suggested that the electromagnetic radiation did affect human brain tissue. But they played down their findings saying more research was needed to see if the effects were the same in living people. Another study by scientists in Sweden, also published in 2002, claimed to have found a link between analogue mobile phones and brain tumours. It suggested users of “first generation” phones had a 30% higher risk of developing tumours than people who did not. However, the findings were controversial and there have been no similar studies into the effects of modern GSM phones. There have also been reports of people suffering from headaches, fatigue and loss of concentration after using their mobile phones. However, these claims have not been scientifically substantiated.
In 2004, a 750-people study by Sweden’s Karolinska Institute found using a mobile phone for 10 years or more increases the risk of ear tumours by four times.
Are there risks for children ?
The Stewart report recommended that children should only use mobile phones in emergencies. The recommendation was based on the theory that children could be more at risk from the radiowaves emitted by mobile phones. This is because their brains are still developing and their skulls are thinner, making it easier for the radiowaves to penetrate them. Also if they start using mobiles at a young age, their cumulative lifetime use will be higher than adults. According to the Advisory Group on Non-Ionising Radiation, “little has been published specifically on childhood exposures” since 2000. As a result, children are still advised only to use mobile phones in emergencies. However, surveys suggest that many children are ignoring the advice. A survey of 1,000 British children, carried out in 2001, found 90% of under-16s own a mobile and one in 10 spends more than 45 minutes a day using it.
What steps can people take to reduce the risks?
Experts suggest that mobile phone users can take a number of precautions to reduce any possible health risks. Almost all agree that the best step is to keep mobile phone conversations short and to a minimum. Many believe that so-called hands free kits reduce the risks by cutting the amount of electromagnetic radiation entering the brain. They also recommend that users buy phones with external aerials so that it is as far away from the head as possible when in use. Similarly, it is believed that phones with a long talk time are more efficient and produce less powerful emissions. Users are also advised against buying handsets with a high “SAR” value, which means it emits more radiation.
What is the SAR test?
The Specific Absorption Rate test uses sophisticated instruments to measure the amount of radiation absorbed into the body, usually the head. At present, the generally recognized limit for absorbed electromagnetic energy is 1.6 watts per kilogram. All cell phones sold must be tested and have their compliance with this standard certified by their manufacturer. The electromagnetic fields from a cell phone depend upon the design of the cell phone and its antenna, how it operates, as well as how it is held and used. Tests conducted by the ABC show 20/20 has found that some of the country’s most popular cell phones can – depending on how they’re held – exceed the radiation limit. A cell phone’s antenna radiates in all directions. The health concern is about the radiation actually absorbed into the head, which is where cell phones are usually held. SAR tests conducted on the SAR Shield show that the product reduces SAR radiation by as much as 89%.
How can I be protected from possible harm? Should I use a hands free kit, or a Bluetooth headset?
The only sure way is to stop using a cell phone. Most people however would prefer to play safe by simply reducing their exposure to radio frequency radiation. Bluetooth devices emit only 10% of the radiation of a cell phone. A hands-free set enables the user to keep the phone away from the head but usually leaves the phone near some other part of the body. It is safe to say that in the event that radio frequency radiation causes damage, you would like to protect other parts of your body. Therefore the only way to reduce your risk is to reduce the radio frequency radiation your body absorbs. SAR Shield reduces radio frequency radiation by up to 89%.
How does the SAR Shield work, and what is SAR shield made of?
SAR Shield was developed using the P.A.M. SYSTEM® technology. The materials used in the construction of the SAR Shield attract and dissipate electro-magnetic waves. As radiation travels it uses up its energy. What SAR Shield does is it acts like a radiation magnet, constantly attracting the radiation towards it, therefore making it release its energy closer to the phone. This causes most of the radiation to dissapate away from the head and body. SAR Shield does not cause noticeable reduction in signal strength.
How do I know that it really works?
SAR Shield has been independently tested to reduce radio frequency radiation by up to 89%. We have a complete list of tests available for full review in our tests section.
How long does SAR Shield last? Will I have to change it every year?
SAR Shield will reduce radio frequency radiation over the entire life of your cell phone. SAR Shield cannot be transferred to another phone after it is installed, as the 3M bonding we use will no longer work. If a new phone is purchased a new SAR Shield must be installed.
